PSY, Big Bang and more become shareholders of YG Entertainment

On April 8th, it was revealed that Yang Hyun Suk and Yang Min Suk transferred part of their shares to YG Entertainment artists.

As major shareholders of the company, both Yang Hyun Suk and Yang Min Suk decided to transfer their preemptive rights to purchase 81,400 shares to PSY, Big Bang and 18 more artists in the company. It is said to be the first time that the major shareholders of a Korean entertainment company have done this.

With this advancement, people believe this will bring more benefits to YG Entertainment as the artists can take part in the management of the company and will help to develop it.
