GOT7 cancel first airing of new reality show 'I GOT7' #PrayForSouthKorea

Rookie group GOT7 cancel the first broadcast of their newest reality show on SBS TV' I GOT7' which is supposed to air on April 22 at 7:30PM.

In this reality show, the seven boys are going to complete seven missions by undergoing challenges which will test their teamwork and determination. Several guests and labelmates are going to appear as guests.

GOT7 are also mourning for the Sewol tragedy and ask for your understanding. Fans could patiently wait for further notice of new premiere date.

G.NA postpones her comeback for 'Pretty Underwear' #PrayForSouthKorea

G.NA's agency, Cube Entertainment announced on 18th, "After hearing the Sewol sinking tragedy, we immediately decided to cancel G.NA's comeback promotion schedules as we pray for the departed's souls to rest in peace," indicating the album release schedule to be postponed.

G.NA's new single 'Pretty Underwear' is supposed to be released on 21st.

Cube added, "Exact schedule for G.NA's full comeback is still being discussed as we re-adjust the details. But for now, we offer our deepest condolences to the people in pain."

'Mimi' starring TVXQ's Changmin to be released as movie in Japan's theaters

MENT's ghost romance drama series starring TVXQ's Changmin and Moon Ga Young is going to be edited as movie and will be screened in 30 theaters in Japan.

On April 18, a Japanese website 'Sanspo' reported that 'Mimi' is going to have a two-part movie version. The first part is going to be shown at 30 TOHO Cinemas starting on May 9 and the 2nd part on May 16.

'Mimi' is about a story of webtoon writer Minwoo (Changmin) who searches his first love Mimi (Moon Ga Young). The plot divides into past and present with Changmin acting both highschoool student and adult.

People around the world are grieving over the Sewol tragic accident, and they are all sending in their sincere condolences to everyone who involved, especially many it's heartwarming to see many K-Pop fans are doing good deeds on behalf of their idols.

On April 18th, fans of idol groups such as EXO, VIXX, BAP, Infinite, GOT7, BTS, Super Junior, SHINee, Big Bang and many more have delivered many necessary supplies under their idols' names such as coffee, vitamin drinks, tea, energy bars, hot packs, blankets, paper cups, toothbrushes, toilet paprts and etc to everyone who is currently at Jindo Stadium with messsages hoping for everyone to comeback safely.

About the current situation at Jindo, it was reported that 28 deaths have been confirmed, 179 people have been rescured while there are still 268 people to be missing.

Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye send in request to postpone Lotte Duty Free family concert + still progress with the event on April 18th

Lee Min ho and Park Shin Hye along with many other celebrities were scheduled to attend "Family Concert with Hallyu Star" organized by Lotte Duty Free from April 18th, 19th and 20th at Jamsil Gymnastic Stadium.

Due to the tragic accident of the Sewol ferry on April 16th, many music shows and variety programs have decided to postpone their broadcasts in order to send in the condolences to all the victims. Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye also made their decision and have sent many requests to Lotte to postpone the event. However Lotte announced that they will only cancel the events on 19th and 20th.

A representative from Lotte explained that as the event on 18th involves a large amount of foreign tourists which has more than 12.000 people, it's hard to cancel it. The event was originally scheduled to last for 2 hours and 30 minutes so we decided to reduce it to 1 hour long. The guests will only present for a simple greeting and also show their condolences to all the victims, therefore there won't be any performance"

For Lotte's "Family Concert with Hallyu Star", Lee Seung Hwan, Baek Ji Young, Kim Bum Soo, Wheesung were supposed to perform at 'K-Live Concert" on April 19th, while EXO-K, B1A4, Girl's Day, VIXX originally scheduled to perform at 'K-Pop Concert on 20th.

Recently, the photos of Jo In Sung and Lee Kwang Soo taken with fans at a restaurant has shared widely on social network, drew much attention.

It was revealed that on April 14th, after the 1st trial recording of new SBS drama, "It's Okey It's Love", actor Jo In Sung and Lee Kwang Soo went eating at a BBQ restaurant. They met some fans there and took photos with them happily. The photos were shared on their social network with a message, "Met In Sung at a BBQ restaurant, he was eating with Kwang Soo"

SBS's new drama, "It's Okay It's Love" with the participation of Jo In Sung, Gong Hyo Jin, Lee Kwang Soo... is planned to air on SBS in July.

ZE:A's Siwan learns how to play casino games

ZE:A's Lim Siwan has been casted in MBC's new drama called 'Triangle,' in which he is playing as a wealthy guy named Yoon Yang Ha, who is getting trained for a casino management.

'Triangle' will show a story of three brothers, who had to be separated after their parents' death, and Yoon Yang Ha, the youngest of the three, gets adopted to a wealthy family when he is an infant.

In order to help Siwan, the production team prepared a time for Siwan to learn about casino games with experts. In the photos, Si Wan had his first lesson about casino, he sat before a game table with a passionate attitude. It was also revealed that he never lost his focus on the lesson in over two hours.

Siwan shared, "It was my first time to learn about casino games, and I had to ask a lot of questions because the rules were not easy. I heard that most of the dealers need 6 months of training before standing before tables, and I am going through some intense trainings."

He added, "I am practicing many different hand tricks by watching video clips."

'Triangle' will premiere on April 5th after 'Empress Ki.'

On April 16th, a rep of YG Entertainment revealed that G-Dragon and Taeyang are going to release their Paris pictorials, 'G-DRAGON × TAEYANG IN PARIS 2014,' simultaneously in Korea, China, and Japan on June 11th "

The pictorials and a high-quality video will be included in the photobook. they were taken when G-Dragon and Taeyang visited Paris, France for Paris Fashion Week back in January. There they attended many fashion shows of CHANEL, LANVIN, St. Laurent, Tom Ford, Juun.J, and KenZo.

G-Dragon and Taeyang were officially invited to '2014 Paris Fashion Week' as celebrities from Korea, and they drew a lot of attention from the press. They also shared photos taken with top fashion designers on their social networks.

EXO to delay the release of new mini album 'Overdose' due to the ferry tragedy

In condolence to the ferry tragedy, EXO decided to push back the release of their new mini album "Overdose".

On April 18th, SM Entertainment posted a notice on EXO's official site,"Over the sinking news of the Sewol ferry on April 16th, our SM Entertainment employees and artists are all feeling bitter and sad","After much discussion we decided to delay the release of mini album "Overdose" for the time being","This decidion was made in order to mourn for all the victims and pray that all missing people will comeback safely, so we ask for your understanding from all the fans who have been waiting for the album"

SM Entertainment also stated that they will announce further information about the release of the mini album later once it's confirmed.

SBS postpones the broadcast premiere of 'Roommate' #PrayForSouthKorea

SBS has decided to postpone the broadcast premiere of its new reality show 'Roommate's first episode.

To join the mourning on the 3rd day since the sunken ship tragedy, SBS moves the date from 20 to 27th. Thus, SBS's 'Roommate'is going to air its first episode a week after its original airing date.

"Roommate" cast are actors Shin Sungwoo, Seo Kangjoon, Park Minwoo, comedian Jo Saeho and EXO's Chanyeol and actress Hong Soohyun, After School's Nana, 2NE1's Bom, MMA fighter Song Gayeon and model Lee Sora.

The cast are going to be monitored through 60 cameras which will reveal their most candid and natural living routine with their roommates.

Hip hop rapper San E announces the postponement of the release of his new song 'Body Language' on April 17.

MBLAQ's G.O. joins the musical 'The Kingdom of The Winds-Muhyul'

According to the press release from Seoul Performing Arts, MBLAQ's G.O. is cast in the musical 'The Land of the Wind', making it his 3rd musical after 'Gwanggwamun Sonata' and 'Seopyeonje'.

The musical 'The Land of the Wind' is going to be shown in theater starting on May 11. G.O. will play the role of Hodong, the son of Daemushin/Muhyul, the 3rd King of Goguryeo and the God of War.

The musical is going to be shown at CJ Towol Seoul Arts Center Theater from May 11-20.

MNET cancels the premiere of EXO's new reality show 'xoxo EXO' #PrayForSouthKorea

EXO are going to have their new reality show on MNET titled 'xoxo EXO' which is supposed to premiere its first episode on April 18 at 10:10PM KST.

However, due to that sunken ferry tragedy, they postponed the broadcast and will be moved to a new date. MNET is going to notify fans with new premiere date and further details.

EXO's 'xoxo EXO' is going to cover the boys domestic and global activities during and after their promotion for 'Overdose'. It has been anticipated by their fans because of their exciting comeback which happened on April 15.

Moreover, EXO also cancel their Samsung Music related events.

Yoo Yeon Suk was scheduled to have a fan meeting called "2014 Spring, and Yoo Yeon Suk" on April 20th at 2pm kst at Baekam Art Hall in Samsung-dong. His agency said,"Rather than progressing with the event we decide to postpone it to show our condolence to all the victims".

For Lee Jun Ki, the agency announced that his upcoming birthday fan meeting "Dreaming" on April 19th at Olympic Park Wooki Finance Art Hall will also be temporarily postponed.

IU to postpone the ticketing for her upcoming theatre concert due to the ferry accident

IU to join in the mourning of the ferry tragedy by postponing the ticketing for her upcoming concert at Sogang University.

Her upcoming concert at Sogang University was previously scheduled to open the ticketing today on April 17th. A representative from the agency said,"We sincerely apologize for all the fans who have been waiting for the ticketing to open. In addition, for everyone who is still missing in the ferry accident, we are also wishing for you all to come back safely"

For more information, IU is going to hold concert at Sogang University's Mary Hall with a concept as a small theatre performance, and the purpose to to interact more with the audience while providing quality music.

Many TV programs, events and comebacks delayed due to ferry disaster

On April 16th, a ferry carrying 459 people, mostly high school students on a trip to Jeju island, sank off South Korea's southern coast, leaving nearly 300 people missing, 7 people dead and 55 injured.

Due to the big disaster, all the entertainment programs, dramas as well as comeback schedules of many artists have been delayed to show respects for the victims.

KBS1's programs: "Secret of Birth" ,"Real Experience of The World" and the drama "Love through Song" were postponed .

KBS2's music program "Music Bank" planned to air on the 18th was canceled. However, drama "Golden Cross" and "Palpitating Romance" will air as scheduled.

MBC's programs "Zero" ,"Shining Romance" ,"Mother's Garden" ,"The Real Story" ,"Radio Star" had been delayed .

SBS's "Inkigayo", "TV News At Night" were canceled and they will air the news update for 2 consecutive hours instead.

As for celebrities, many agencies and artists announced the delay of their comebacks: Block B, T-ara's Jiyeon, G.NA, Fiestar, Lena Park, Junggigo... and others canceled their fan meetings and interviews: Apink, BoA, NC.A, Toheart...

Many actors and actresses also canceled their promotional plans: Jo In Sung, Jeon Ji Hyun,...

ToHeart and NC.A who have fansigning schedules on April 19 both postpone to join the second day of mourning for the ship tragedy occurred yesterday.

Meeting with fans with a heavy heart due to the pain, Toheart's Woohyun and Key postpone their April 19 and 20 fansigning schedules. They notified their fans through a post on their website and is going to inform them the changed dates in the future.

On the other hand, NC.A's agency, JJ Holic media posted the notice on N.CA's Facebook page, "We are mourning for the ferry sank in Jindo that occurred on April 16. We apologize to cancel NC.A's fansign scheduled on 19th. Victims who are missing, we pray for your safe return."

Toheart and NC.A are both asking for their fans' understanding for this sudden change of schedules.

FIESTAR postpone their comeback to sympathize and mourn after the ship tragedy occurred yesterday.

A very unfortunate news has broken out on April 16, after a South Korea ferry sank on its way to Jeju leaving 6 people dead and almost 290 passengers missing , including high school students missing.

Prior to this, FIESTAR agency told StarNews on 17, "FIESTAR is going to release new single on April 25 and the full scale promotional activities which scheduled to start on 23rd are all postponed." Adjusting to later date than the original plan.

The group is coming back with five members after Cheska's withdrawal last month. Hope fans can patiently wait for Jei, CaoLu, Linzy, Hyemi, and Yezi's comeback.

Akdong Musician's 'Galaxy' deems inappropriate for broadcast on KBS

On April 16th, KBS announced that Akdong Musician's "Galaxy" is banned from broadcast.

The reason is because the world "galaxy" in the lyrics are repeated 9 times in the song, so people might mistake it as a CF song for the smartphone brand Samsung Galaxy. Meanwhile the other songs in the album passed the deliberation.

YG Entertainment also said that they will not send in any request for a reconsideration, and there won't be any change in the lyrics.

SHINee's Onew is confirmed for musical 'ingin' In The Rain' + EXO's Baekhyun to join the cast

On April 16th, it was revealed that SHINee's Onew along with Super Junior's Kyuhyun are confirmed to play in upcoming musical "Singin' In The Rain", also EXO's Baekhyun is likely to join the the cast as well.

SM Entertainment said,"Onew and Kyuhyun will appear in musical "Singin' In The Rain". EXO's Baekhyun also received the love call to star in the musical. However we are currently checking with his schedule so nothing has been confirmed yet".

A representative said,"Both of them have extremely love for musical. Despite their busy schedule they always do their best than anyone else in rehearsal. They have good skills and their passion is also really great"

"Singin' In The Rain" will take place at Chungmu Art Hall, Grand Theatre from June 5th - August 3rd.

Jung Sisters' reality show to be broadcast on June 5th

On April 16th, cable channel OnStyle revealed that Jessica and Krystal' new reality show will be broadcast on June 5th.

The original name of the show "Cover Girl" will be changed into "Jessica and Krystal". The show will revolve around the sisters' daily life in which viewers will have the chance to take a peek into their private lives, and get to see more of their outstanding fashion sense through shopping and also while doing many things more.

There will be a total of 10 episodes and it will be broadcast every Tuesday at 11:00pm.

Sympathizing, A Pink cancel their 2nd fanmeeting which is supposed to be held on April 19 at 7PM in Kwangwoon University in Seoul , to commemorate their 3rd anniversary since debut.

A Cube Entertainment said, "A Pink couldn't face their fans with bright image in the midst of this pain, so we decided to cancel the fanmeeting. We are going to notify you with new dates in the future."

On April 16th, SBS PD Park Sang Hyuk twitter unveiled the character card for EXO's Chanyeol following Hong Soo Hyun, Shin Sung Woo, Seo Kang Joon, Nana, Park Min Woo, Park Bom and Lee Dong Wook.
