Celebrating Rain’s 11th anniversary since his debut, the star’s fanclubs from all over the world donated a large sum to support children.
On April 30th, UNICEF Korea announced that Rain’s fan club Clouds donated a total of 11,370,000 KRW to UNICEF to support children. The donation not only came from the fans in Korea, but from all around the world under the name of ‘Rain Fans United.’
The association of Rain’s fan clubs said, “We would like to make this donation to share the struggles that many children are still having at all over the world.”
Rain’s debut date is April 28th, and April 25th also happens to be ‘World Day of Eradication of Malaria’, the fan club hoped that the donations will be used for buying clean water, medicines for malaria and mosquito nets.
Heechul will soon be returning to fans as Super Junior member again!
An acquaintance of Heechul said on April 29th, “Heechul shows great desire to join Super Junior again as soon as he returns from the army on August 31st. He’s preparing to stand on stage on Super Junior’s world tour ‘Super Show 5’ when he’s discharged.”
The same individual continued, “There’s four months left of his military service and for the remaining period he will personally practice the different choreographies during the evenings and weekends.”
Meanwhile, Heechul will be the second Super Junior member to successfully return from the army after Kangin. Currently, Leeteuk is in the military and Yesung will enter on May 6.
Rapper San E has decided to leave his agency JYP Entertainment.
San E recently wrote on his fancafe, “I think I’ll cancel my contract with JYP Entertainment soon. It’s not that there’s any bad news or anything like that. It’s kind of long to tell the story from the beginning. Anyway, the conclusion is that I’m going to officially leave.”
He continued, “The most important thing is that there is absolutely no problem, and we all are on good terms. However, it doesn’t mean I’m quitting music. I’ll show another side of San E so please don’t be sad and just be happy.”
JYP Entertainment confirmed the news and stated, “His contract will be over during the week. We ended on good terms and had a lot of conversations with him. For his music promotions, we’ve decided not to end his contract but to cancel it.”
San E debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2010 and released his album ‘Everybody Ready?’.
Big Bang’s charismatic Taeyang has been chosen as visual artist character image of ‘Japan Street Dance Association’
In the middle of April, Taeyang shoot advertising for Japanese Street Dance Association (JSDA) and showcased his dancing skills. JSDA believed that Taeyang showed such a great performance at world tour in 2012 so they chose him as their advertising model.
Taeyang shared “I’m happy, I’m very happy! I want to inspire people with my music and dance. I hope my dance reaches out to a lot of people.”
The new CF will grace the large screens in the neighborhood near Shibuya Station in Tokyo, Nagoya Station in Nagoya and at Osaka Shinsiahbashi starting from May 13th.
Actor Song Seung Hun shared a lovely couple photo with co-star Shin Se Kyung.
On April 29, the actor posted on his Twitter, “When a man is under cherry blossoms”, and attached the photo above which seems to have been taken during the middle of filming MBC drama ‘When A Man Loves’
In the photo, Song Seung Hun is looking handsome in navy color suits while Shin Se Kyung looks lovely in one-piece white dress. Both stars are wearing sweet smiles on their faces with a beautiful cherry blossoms in the background.
