Singer IU bid farewell to her MC role on SBS’ weekly music program, ‘Inkigayo’.
During the July 28th broadcast of Inkigayo, IU, who had MCing for the show since 2011, revealed that she will be stepping down from her MC postion saying, “Today is my last day as MC of Inkigayo. I remember having my first MC introduction with B2ST’s Lee KiKwang.”
Fellow MCs Kwanghee and Lee Hyunwoo had also prepared special farewell gifts for IU. Lee Hyun Woo gave her a photo book containing photos of her Inkigayo appearances over the last 107 weeks, while Kwanghee created an acrostic poem for her.
